Sooghito from Tuesday Ramsho

This Sooghito centers around the parable alluded to in the Qolo discussed in this post, found in Matthew 20: 1-16. Little sympathy is found for the jealous servant, despite the fact he works all day.

Sooghito

In all evenings, to You be glory from all the mouths of mankind.

You gave the day course and work, and the management of all properties.

Lo! They profess to You all of the fraudulence in the severe work which they left undone.

Who does not worship You inasmuch as You care for our humanity?

You placed the luminaries and times in the evening to rebuke the one who is dissatisfied

By the wealth of his companions because he worked the whole day in vain.

Those who hungered and thirsted, toiled and were weary – the evening came and dismissed them.

This time of evening comes suddenly to the world and its laborers.

And to the greedy one who did not pity his companions who was dissatisfied with his labor

Evening hated and spat in his face, and his avarice was unfulfilled.

Blessed is Your majesty that cared for our humanity from the beginning.

Resort is given to mankind and creatures in the time of evening.

Grant, Lord, Your tranquility in the four quarters and may the Evil One flee from amidst us.

From every tongue in all mouths and from all corners may glory be raised.

May we, with them, raise glory to You, Lord, and to Your Father, and to Your Holy Spirit.
Our Lord, accept our service, our prayers, come to our aid and have mercy on us!
